The Legal Aid Service (LAS) representatives participated in the Law Congress - the first large-scale event which included an employment forum for law students and young lawyers. Within the scope of the gathering, law students and young lawyers from Tbilisi-area authorized universities had the opportunity to learn in-depth details about the LAS. In the opening part of the event, the Acting Director of the LAS Davit Simonia, addressed the students and spoke to the audience on the value of informal education in the legal field. As part of the Congress, Besarion Zoidze, Doctor of Law, gave a public lecture on the topic of "The role of education for human rights." The event was organized jointly by the European Law Students Association of Tbilisi - ELSA Tbilisi-and the International School of Intelligence and the Education- ISIE Georgia, and it aimed to assist law students and young attorneys in obtaining legal knowledge and professional employment.
