On May 5, Head of Gori Legal Aid Bureau Giga Jeiranashvili and the consultant Nino Masurashvili met the women affected by the conflict in the village of Jariasheni on the dividing line. The meeting was organized by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality. The Representatives of the Human Rights Protection and Investigation Quality Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Agency for State Care and Assistance for Victims of Human Trafficking, and the Local Self-Government Gender Council participated in it.
Topics of conversation were issues related to women and domestic violence, public services and free legal aid. All the questions asked by the population were comprehensively answered by the lawyers.
