On June 18, in the village of Khviti in the Kaspi Municipality Demarcation Line a meeting was held with the villagers on the issue of free legal aid, violence against women and domestic violence, and public services.
The meeting was organized by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality. Nino Masurashvili, a consultant at the Gori Legal Aid Bureau, introduced free legal aid services to the Khviti population and explained in details how the Legal Aid Service provides timely and effective assistance to women and victims of domestic violence or potential victims.
In the information consultation meeting also participated the representatives of the Human Rights Protection and Investigation Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Care and Trafficking Agency and the Victim Assistance Agency. The lawyers answered questions the residents were interested in.
