The LAS lawyers continue to carry out meetings for employees of Social Service Agency.
On June 16, the LAS Adjara Legal Aid Bureau lawyers met with the employees of Social Service Agency Khelvachauri District Unit. On June 17, the LAS Mtskheta-Mtianeti Legal Aid Bureau lawyers held a meeting in Stephantsminda District Unit.
In the framework of the meeting, the public lawyers informed the participants about the criteria necessary for receiving free legal aid, discussed protection issues of persons with psycho-social needs, state protection mechanisms of minors’ interests, appointment of allowances and granting rating points to a family.
The aim of the meeting is to raise legal awareness of the Agency employees and to involve them in redirecting beneficiaries with legal needs to the appropriate legal aid bureaus.
