The LAS regional bureau lawyers continue to carry out meetings with the Social Service Agency employees. On April 19-20, the LAS Kutaisi and Zugdidi Bureau lawyers held a meeting with employees of Khoni, Chkhorotskhu and Tsalenjikha Civil Unit of Social Service Agency.
The issues of protection of persons with psycho-social needs (support beneficiaries) and problems with protection of rights of children were discussed at the meeting. The participants touched upon appointment of living allowances and granting rating point to a family.
The LAS legal aid bureaus periodically carry out similar meetings in the territorial offices of Social Service Agency. The aim of such meetings is to raise awareness of the Agency employees so that they are able to redirect the citizens with legal problems to the relevant legal aid bureau.
