On April 20, the LAS Rustavi Bureau lawyers held information meeting in Martkhophi village, Gardabani district.
In the framework of the visit, the public lawyers talked about rights of the victims of domestic violence, as well as legal responsibility established for perpetrators. The focus was made on free advocacy service of which is accessible for victims of domestic violence (in case they meet insolvency criteria).
One of the priorities of the Service is to raise awareness of the society on domestic violence issues.
