Today, the director of Legal Aid Service, Meliton Benidze and the chairman of Legal Aid Georgia, Dimitri Zviadadze signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The two organizations are going to work in coordination to protect rights of internally displaced persons. The cooperation envisages exchange of information on IDPs, referral of beneficiaries, as well as raising qualification of employees of the organizations.
Legal Aid Georgia unites 4 NGOs of Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Tbilisi and Akhmeta. These organizations and the LAS bureaus of the relevant regions will work together with the aim to offer better legal aid service to IDPs.
