On March 20, a mock trial with participation of Leadership House students was held at Gori District court. The students played roles of prosecutors, lawyers and a defendant – trial parties envisaged by Criminal Procedure Code of Georgia.
The parties presented opening and closing speech, questioned witnesses through direct and cross examination. Basing on the testimonies of witnesses and gained evidences on the case the jury rendered a verdict of acquittal.
