With the USAID Rule of Law Program support , a summer camp for student paralegals was hosted in Borjomi from June 29 to August 2. Students from Samtskhe-Javakheti State University and paralegals from the Adjara and Imereti regions participated in the event.
David Simonia, Director of the Legal Aid Service, and Herb Bowman, Deputy Head of the USAID Rule of Law Program, addressed the audience.
Students were able to develop their social and networking skills with professionals in the sector as part of the summer camp experience. We would like to remind you that the Paralegal project is still going strong and that we have more scheduled activities coming up that will be gradually introduced to you.
At the conclusion of the event, students were given certificates of participation.
