On April 18, 2024, the Director of the Legal Aid Service, David Simonia, together with other representatives, met the residents of Norio village, Abasha Municipality.
David Simonia gave the audience an overview of the LAS services. Additionally, he introduced the LAS Mobile Consulting Center, which was established with the support of the German Government and the United Nations Development Program(UNDP), as part of the project "Improving the Rule of Law and Access to Justice for All".
The Mobile Consulting Center is a special van equipped with appropriate tools, to allow for the provision of individual legal counseling, and drafting of legal documents, as needed. It is organized and equipped by the German Government Deutsche Botschaft Tiflis გერმანიის საელჩო თბილისი, and the United Nations Development Program UNDP Georgia as part of the project "Improving the Rule of Law and Access to Justice for All". The Center is specially designed for those villages and other settlements that are located distant from the Legal Aid Service offices.
Salome Janjghava, a consultant of Poti Legal Aid Bureau, provided one-on-one consultations to the interested persons with the help of the Mobile Consulting Center.
The population actively used the Mobile Consulting Center.
