Representatives of the Legal Aid Service(LAS) attended a conference on the practical application of artificial intelligence and modern technologies, held with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Program on February 27.
As part of the USAID/Georgia Rule of Law Program scholarship grant, Magda Beruashvili, Assistant, Judge of Tbilisi City Court, together with Zviad Gabisonia, the head of the Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence Doctoral Program of the University of Business and Technology, delivered a presentation on the benefits and challenges of integrating artificial intelligence and contemporary technologies into the field of justice.
It is noteworthy that artificial intelligence has been incorporated into the Legal Aid Service for nearly two years, and that this has already helped to shorten the time for providing legal assistance.
The conference attendees underscored the intention to enhance the application of artificial intelligence in the future.
