On March 17, a meeting with paralegals was held for students of Batumi public school #15. As part of the "Let's make the Law accessible to All" movement, initiated by the Legal Aid Service(LAS), the paralegals addressed the school students to current concerns stemming from the Code of Children's Rights, bullying and inclusive education. The prevention strategies for violence against women were also examined.
The meeting went with active participation of the students. Director of the Legal Aid Service, David Simonia, spoke to minors about children's rights, bullying, juvenile justice and domestic violence.
The meeting's conclusion included an engaging conversation.
D. Simonia introduced the audience to the LAS service offerings and its application.
We thank the USAID Rule of Law Program for the project financing and significant support.
