Twenty-five employees of the Legal Aid Service successfully completed training on international standards for the prohibition of torture and the protection of the right to life.
The training was delivered by the South Caucasus Field Presence of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), with the financial support of the European Union (EU).
Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the issues such as international standards for the prohibition of torture; international standards for the protection of the right to life; application of international human rights standards in judicial practice; Investigations related to the prohibition of torture and the right to life. The training was led by experts, Besarion Bokhashvili and Konstantine Korkelia.
