During 17-23 July, In Batumi, with support from the USAID Rule of Law Program/Batumi Rule of Law Hub, thirty consultants and attorneys of the Legal Aid Service’s Batumi office had the opportunity ➡ to discuss legal problems faced by society in terms of human rights, including the restriction of women’s rights and trafficking, and gain knowledge about existing legal practices from practicing judges and legal experts.
The Legal Aid Service lawyers and consultants participating in a week long training have daily contact with the local communities from the different regions of Georgia. They actively pursue solutions to the community’s legal problems through free legal consultations and advocacy services.
