On June 20, a mood trial of jurors was organized by the Legal Aid Service at the Khoni Magistrate Court. The jurors were persons living in Khoni Municipality, while the judge, the prosecution, and the defense were attorneys of the Kutaisi Legal Aid Bureau and representatives of the service administration. A premeditated murder case with one accused was considered. The jurors listened well to both sides, discussed a lot, and finally, by a majority vote, acquitted the accused. The event was held within the framework of the Legal Aid Service movement - "Make the law accessible to all", which aims to raise legal awareness of the population.
