On July 1, the Legal Aid Service Counseling Center opened in Oni. The Counseling Center will provide legal advice to any person on any legal issue. Tea Chikvaidze, a legal consultant, will work at the center and give legal advice on various issues. including the vulnerable rights, banking, land and real estate registration, inheritance, labor disputes, violence against women and domestic violence, supporter appointments, and other urgent issues.
The opening of the office was followed by a meeting with the Oni Municipality Administration, and the village's appointees. At the meeting, Razhden Kuprashvili, Legal Aid Service Director, introduced the locals to the services provided by the LAS, as well as the criteria for receiving free legal aid by the locals. There was made a presentation on the important legal issues for the region.
By now, there are 13 legal aid bureaus and 29 counseling centers functioning across the country.
