Seminars are held at public schools of Georgia by the lawyers of Legal Aid Service.
From April 15 to April 17, seminars were held at 11 public schools. These are: schools of Pirveli Maisi and Shua Khorga villages, Khobi district; schools of Namikolavo and Noghi villages, Martvili district; schools of Vale, Klde and Tsnisi villages, Akhaltsikhe district; school N8 of Batumi; school N6 of Rustavi; school of Kukhi village, Khoni district and school N7 of Telavi.
In the framework of seminars, the public lawyers introduce pupils of higher classes with such issues as legal culture, fundamental human rights and freedoms, rights of minors, law enforcement bodies, court, court of jury, field of law, types of crimes and criminal liability, etc.
The aim of holding seminars at schools is to raise awareness among pupils and prevent crime. These activities are carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
