On June 29, the LAS Poti Bureau lawyers held information meeting with IDPs who live in collective settlement in Poti.
As a part of the meeting, the public lawyers informed the IDPs about the criteria necessary for receiving free legal aid and talked about various legal issues. The social rights of the IDPs, provision with accommodation, legalization of living spaces, issues regarding homeowners’ association, registration in the unified database of the socially vulnerable families, etc were discussed at the meeting.
The LAS bureaus periodically carry out information meetings with the aim to raise legal awareness of IDPs.
