The LAS lawyers continue to carry out meetings with the employees of Social Service Agency. On June 29, the LAS Mtskheta-Mtianeti Legal Aid Bureau lawyers met with the employees of Mtskheta District Unit of Social Service Agency.
As a part of the meeting, the public lawyers informed the Agency employees about the criteria necessary for receiving free legal aid. They also discussed protection issues of persons with psycho-social needs, state protection mechanisms of minors’ interests, as well as – appointment of living allowance and granting rating point to a family.
Similar meetings are periodically carried out with the employees of Social Service Agency with the aim to raise awareness of the Agency employees and their involvement in beneficiaries’ redirection process to the proper legal aid bureaus.
