The LAS Imereti-Kutaisi Legal Aid Bureau hosted the representatives of other LAS bureaus and consultation centers that operate in Western Georgia. With support of the EU-UNDP joint program, the set of trainings was organized in Kutaisi. The Deputy Director of the Service Irakli Shonia presented to the training participants the PhD Ucha Zakashvili who talked about the construction law.
It is worth to mention that one of the priorities of Legal Aid Service is the raise of qualification and permanent training. The Service carries out training needs assessment in every two years. According to the recent survey, 8 most required topics on which the training module was elaborated and trainings were scheduled for the LAS bureaus and consultation centers. One of the main topics is construction law - an important field as an interest of the society is growing towards the immovable property, rights of habitats, legal aspects of the supervision, etc.
