On March 18-19, the members of Legal Aid Council, administration of the Service and heads of regional legal aid bureaus gathered in Gudauri, at a 2-day working meeting in order to discuss a new structure of the central apparatus of the Service.
In the framework of the meeting, the participants discussed a draft structure prepared by Synergy Group. The aim of the reorganization is to enhance functional capacity of the central apparatus of Legal Aid Service in order that the Service is able to react adequately and effectively to ongoing and future challenges.
The workshop was held in the framework of the joint program of UNDP and UNICEF “Accessible Justice for All and Development of a Coherent Child Friendly Justice System in Georgia” which is funded by the EU.
