On June 16, in Telavi, in Nadikvari Park, the EU office in Georgia celebrated Europe Day together with other partner organizations. Taking part into various entertaining and informative activities, the locals of Telavi received information about travelling in the EU zone, learning programs and the EU financed projects in Georgia.
Legal Aid Service was also present at the event with its own information corner. The Service is actively involved in the EU and UNDP joint project “Enhancing Access to Justice and a Child-Friendly Justice System in Georgia”.
The LAS Telavi Legal Aid Bureau consultant, Meri Khachidze, informed visitors about the eligibility criteria for receiving free legal assistance and distributed brochures about various legal matters.
The Europe Day celebration was completed by the concert.
