On February 23, the LAS Samtskhe-Javakheti Bureau lawyers met with schoolchildren of N1 public school and held seminar on domestic violence issues at Center of Civic Engagement.
The public lawyers informed the schoolchildren regarding protection issues of victims of domestic violence, as well as measures of legal responsibility determined for perpetrators. They also talked about juvenile justice issues.
The LAS bureaus periodically carry out school seminars with the aims to raise legal awareness of the schoolchildren and to prevent them from committing crime.
