On September 19, 2024, Mikheil Khurtsidze, the Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Service (LAS), and Revaz Arsenidze, a lawyer of the LAS Human Resources Management Division, participated in the "Ukrainian House" one year anniversary celebration. The Ukrainian House was established with the support of the German government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP Georgia). The House plays a major role in supporting Ukrainian refugees. The Tbilisi Ukrainian House promotes the integration of Ukrainians living in Georgia into the Georgian society and implements various humanitarian initiatives. As part of its mandate, LAS provides various services, like as free legal aid and rights protection, to Ukrainian refugees, including the Tbilisi Ukrainian House beneficiaries.
