On March 19, the information and consultation campaign of the Legal Aid Service Mobile Consulting Center was launched in the territorial coverage area of Poti Legal Aid Bureau. Despite the difficult meteorological conditions, the representatives of Poti Legal Aid Bureau visited the villages of Akhali Khibula and Sajijao, Khobi Municipality .
The interest of the population was so great that the rainy weather could not stop them from gathering. In her meeting with the villagers, the Head of the Bureau, Natia Bojgua provided them with information about the LAS current services, outlined the specifics of the bureau’s operations, and discussed a range of legal issues;
Those who were interested in receiving individual counseling, were invited to the Mobile Consulting Centre.
Locals actively applied to the Mobile Center for individual counseling. Residents of New Khibula and Sajijao were given one-on-one legal consultations on troubling matters by Natia Bojgua, the Head of Poti Legal Aid Bureau, consultant, Salome Janjghava and lawyer, Zaza Kvirkvelia.
This week, a specially outfitted van, known as the "Mobile Consulting Centre" will travel through the Khobi municipality, offering tourists a confidential consultation opportunity.If necessary, it will be possible to draft and prepare legal documents in the center. The center was organized and equipped by Deutsche Botschaft Tiflis German Embassy Tbilisi as part of the project "Improving the Rule of Law and Access to Justice for All" of the German Government and the United Nations Development Program UNDP Georgia.
