On November 6, in cooperation with the Legal Aid Service and the Georgian Bar Association, a conference on "Current Issues Related to Children's Rights and Juvenile Justice" was held at the Georgian National University.
Rajden Kuprashvili, Director of the Legal Aid Service and Davit Asatiani, Chairman of the Bar Association addressed the lawyers.
They introduced to their colleagues the issues discussed during the recent meeting with the judges.
Expert Maia Bakradze made a presentation on the Code of the Rights of the Child, where the peculiarities of advocacy activities, functions and duties, problems with the enforcement mechanism were separated.
The lawyers present at the conference talked to the invited expert about the problematic issues of court practice.
