An information campaign for ethnic minorities continued in Eshtia

An information campaign for ethnic minorities goes on.

On  April 21, a meeting was held in the village of Eshtia, Ninotsminda Municipality. Local representatives of the single minority received comprehensive information on free legal aid and other services provided by the state.

Inga Gvaramadze, a consultant of the Akhalkalaki Counseling Center of the Legal Aid Service, attended the meeting and provided individual consultations to the population. The presentation was also made by young people from ethnic minorities, who were pre-trained by lawyers from the Legal Aid Service.

The project is implemented jointly by the LEPL Legal Aid Service and the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality. The information campaign is aimed at raising the legal awareness of ethnic minorities in Georgia and is supported by USAID-ProLog, PITA and UNAG.
