LEPL Legal Aid Service and the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality are jointly conducting an information campaign aimed at raising the legal awareness of representatives of Georgia's ethnic minorities.
The project is supported by the USAID –ProLog, PITA and UNAG.
Today the very first meeting was held in Sagarejo. The representatives of the ethnic minorities living in the region received comprehensive information about free legal aid and other services provided by the state.
The presentation was delivered by young people from ethnic minorities who had been pre-trained by lawyers from the Legal Aid Service.
The meeting was attended by the Legal Aid Service representatives Magda Khamkhadze and Giorgi Evstapishvili, who provided Individual consultations for the gathered. The campaign will go on in other regions with ethnic minority communities.
