Today, on April 8, there was signed a Memorandum between the Legal Aid Service and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The experience of collaboration between the agencies has already had its history of assistance on the refugees and asylum seekers issues. At the further stage, the relationship will be expanded in terms of upgrading the attorney's and consultants' qualifications, improving their working conditions, and the quality of their performance.
The Memorandum was signed by Razhden Kuprashvili, Director of the LEPL Legal Aid Service, and Johannes Franz, Senior Legal Advisor to the UN Refugee Agency.
The Legal Aid Service has donated some laptops as a part of the grant.
