On March 13, training courses have launched in civil and administrative law for the LAS lawyers. The trainings are supported by Training Center of Justice and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The first training was held today, at Tbilisi Training Center of Justice. In the framework of a two-day training, heads of the LAS bureaus, as well as lawyers and consultants will get introduced with specifics of the examining civil cases at the court of first instance. The training was led by the experts in law – Diana Berekashvili and Ekaterine Tsiskaridze.
It is planned to hold 4 meetings in total – Examination of Civil Cases in the Court of First Instance, Examination of Administrative Cases in the Court of First Instance, General Administrative Law, Family and Inheritance Law.
Trainings on the issues of civil and administrative law have been carried out since last year. Trainings of the past year were held with support of UNDP.
Rendering legal aid in the above-mentioned fields of law will start from April 15, 2015.
