According to IDFI annual report on accessibility of public information, Legal Aid Service was nominated as one of the most transparent and accountable public organization during the last 6 years. The presentation of the next IDFI report in turn was held today and the representatives of the state, international and non-governmental organizations attended it.
As a result of the monitoring carried out by IDFI in 2016, Legal Aid Service was among the state agencies which provided 100% of accessibility of public information. For ensuring high quality of transparency, the director of IDFI, Giorgi Kldiashvili granted an award to the director of Legal Aid Service, Meliton Benidze.
IDFI carries out regular and comprehensive monitoring of accessibility of public information and accountability of public agencies in Georgia since 2010, with support of the fund Open Society – Georgia.
